Antonia Valente

She studied piano under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo and Roberto Bollea at the Nino Rota Conservatory in Italy, as well as in the class of Elza Kolodin at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg. She has also studied with Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Robert Levin, Stefania Santangelo, François-Joël Thiollier, Filippo Gamba, Andrej Jasinskzi, and Konstantin Bogino, in addition to Jörg Widmann, Muriel Cantoreggi, Jan Philip Schulze, and Justus Zeyen regarding chamber music. She has been awarded in several international competitions and has developed her career as a chamber musician along with soloists in the instrumental and lieder repertoire. She has been accompanying pianist at the Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz in Hannover and professor at the Conservatory of Music in Lecce. Since 2015, she is accompanying pianist professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Fundación BBVA Viola Chair.
